A Turkish bulk provider is anticipated to reach within the Ukrainian Black Sea port of Chornomorsk on Friday and would be the first vessel to reach at a Ukrainian port throughout Russia’s invasion, a spokesperson for the regional administration of Odesa stated.
“The Turkish bulk provider Osprey S, flying the flag of Liberia, is heading from the Dardanelles Strait to the port of Chornomorsk,” Serhiy Bratchuk, the spokesperson, wrote on Telegram late on Wednesday.
“This would be the first vessel that has not been blocked in our ports since February 24, heading to (acquire) Ukrainian export grain,” he stated.
As of Thursday afternoon, Osprey S was anchored within the Sea of Marmara, round 1 kilometer (0.62 mile) off Istanbul’s Asian coast, together with different ships ready to cross the Bosphorus in to the Black Sea, in response to a Reuters witness.
