Trichy: Driver, help charred to dying in collision of vans

TRICHY: Two vans collided in Trichy resulting in the motive force and his assistant of one of many automobiles being charred to dying late Wednesday night time. The accident happened on Madurai–Trichy nationwide freeway at Thuvarankurichi. Each the vans caught hearth after the collision.

The deceased have been recognized as P Indra Manipal (37) of Pratapgarh district in Uttar Pradesh and his assistant R Pavan Patel (25) of Pratapgarh district.
The tragedy struck the duo when Indra Manipal was driving the empty truck from Ettayapuram in Tuticorin district in the direction of Trichy after unloading the windmill blades.
The windmill truck crossed over the middle median and landed on the opposite facet of the street colliding with the cement-laden truck in the wrong way, police mentioned.
Manipal misplaced management over the wheels resulting in the accident, they added. The hearth engulfed the cabin of the truck. Manipal and Patel received locked within the cabin.
Whereas Manipal was charred to dying within the cabin itself, Pavan Patel managed to get out of the cabin and ran away with hearth on his physique. The cement truck driver Sivasakthi escaped with an harm on his proper hand, mentioned the police. Each the vans have been burnt.
