The federal government on Tuesday stated sugar exports elevated 39 per cent to 10.5 million tonnes (mt) throughout the 2021-22 fiscal from the earlier 12 months, whereas rice exports— Basmati and non-Basmati varieties—surged 19 per cent to 21.23 mt.
Talking within the Lok Sabha on agri exports, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar stated the demand for natural merchandise from India is constantly growing within the international market. Edible oil exports down
