Puneeth
Rajkumar,
who
died
final
yr,
will
be
conferred
with
the
‘Karnataka
Ratna’ award
posthumously,
on
November
1,
which
occurs
to
be
Kannada
Rajyotsava,
the
state’s
formation
day.

He
will
be
the
tenth
recipient
of
the
state’s
highest
civilian
honour.

”We
have
determined
to
confer
the
Karnataka
Ratna
award
to
Puneeth
Rajkumar
on
November
1,
we
will
be
forming
a
committee
consisting
of
Rajkumar
household
members
to
put together
for
it,
it
will
be
conferred
with
full
honour,” Bommai
mentioned.

He
was
talking
after
inaugurating
the
annual
Independence
Day
flower
present
at
Lalbagh’s
glass
home
right here.

of
Commerce
(KFCC),
in

with
Sandalwood

Karnataka
Ratna

to

Virendra
Heggade
for

service
in
2009.

Puneeth’s
late
father
Rajkumar
is

the

recipients
of

Karnataka
Ratna
award

1992,

with

Puneeth,
popularly
recognized
as
‘Appu’ and
‘energy
star’
by
his
followers,
made
his
debut
on
display
when
he
was
simply
six
months
outdated
and
went
on
to
win
a
nationwide
award
as
a
youngster
artiste
for
the
movie
‘Bettada
Hoovu’.
He
then
re-emerge
as
a
lead
actor
in
2002
and
went
on
to
star
in
29
movies,
delivering
some
large
hits.

Noting
that
the
flower
present
has
been
on
since
1922
and
attracts
a
massive

of

Bommai
mentioned
this
being
the
seventy fifth

of

a
