The Grimaldi Group introduced it has exercised its choice for the development of 5 further ammonia-ready 9,000 CEU automotive carriers from China Retailers Heavy Industries Jiangsu, a part of China Service provider Trade Holdings (CMI).

Grimaldi introduced its preliminary order for 5 new pure automotive and truck service (PCTC) vessels from CMI in October. The ten vessels are scheduled to be delivered between 2025 and 2027 and shall be deployed on voyages between Europe, North Africa, and the Close to and Far East.
