Following the slender 13-run win over West Indies within the first T20I, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson stated that it felt good to have made a contribution to the crew’s victory. Strong knocks by captain Kane Williamson and wicketkeeper-batter Devon Conway and good bowling by Mitchell Santner powered New Zealand to a 13-run win over West Indies within the first T20I of the three-match sequence at Sabina Park in Jamaica on Wednesday.

“Nice to get the win. The efficiency was pleasing. We all know that this West Indies aspect is able to superb issues, so to recover from the road is an effective feeling. When Windies had been 7/114, Romario Shepherd (31*) and Odean Smith (27*) joined forces for a 58-run stand. They tried to take their aspect throughout the ending line however fell quick by 13 runs.
