15 individuals had been injured in clashes between two sides over dominance in Magura. The incident occurred in Baharbagh village of Sadar upazila on Thursday (August 4) morning.
Officer-in-Cost (OC) of Magura Sadar Police Station Nasir Uddin mentioned that there was a dispute between Saimuddin Chunnu and Saddam Group over the dominance of Baharbagh village. Aminur Rahman was returning house from Amuria market on Tuesday afternoon. On the way in which Abed Ali Dakhil discovered him alone in entrance of the Madrasa and was crushed and injured by the individuals of Chunnu. When this information unfold, within the afternoon the supporters of Saddam group hacked and beat former chairman Liaquat Munshi, Salim Sardar and Tuhin. In consequence, early Thursday morning, the Chunnu group attacked and injured Badsha Mia, Anwar Hossain, Kajal, Imran, Mizan, Harun and Idris.
